Normans - Awarded Charter

We are thrilled to announce that the latest Awardee of The Jersey Good Business Charter is Normans.

Normans are delighted to have been awarded the Jersey Good Business Charter - Standard Level! We see this as testament to all of the great work done by the Normans team over many years to achieve positive and sustainable changes to the way we operate our business. These changes have benefited our staff, customers, the environment, the wider Jersey community and indeed our financial performance. We have many plans in place to develop our ideas even further and we look forward to the challenge of achieving Silver status and beyond in the coming years!

Established business implementing change

Chairman of the Board of the Jersey Good Business Charter, Brendan McMahon said, “Normans has an incredible pedigree as one of our most visible and established business. Older businesses sometimes struggle to implement change and lead the way in terms of innovative business practice – but not Normans. The Council were deeply impressed, not only with what Normans offer its customers and staff but with the deep thinking which has gone into their environmental and sustainability policies, supply chain management and community engagement. Normans is a business which islanders should be proud to call our own.”

Congratulations

We congratulate Simon Chard, Martin Costford, Anna Kielak and the rest of the team at Normans for their successful application and their dedication to the principles of Good Business and Corporate Citizenship in all that they do.
